One Heart Is All I Have
The GDR no longer exists, but people continue to live ruined lives. The fall of the Berlin Wall was not enough to return the meaning to their lives, cure their broken hearts, and help rid them of the wounds of the past. The same is true for Eduard, a former political prisoner who, more than twenty five years after the reunification of Germany, cannot free himself from the horrors of life in the GDR. His journey has included failed love, being stalked by the Stasi, imprisonment, and a dysfunctional family life. Ultimately, unable to cope, he killed his own soul, to avoid experiencing any emotions, particularly with regard to women. But is life without love really life? The North Caucasus, the Northern Polar region, Lithuania, and Ukraine - these are the milestones of her childhood. In 2000, Nataliya Lang earned a Magister degree from the Technical University of Ukraine NTUU KPI. Then she moved to Germany in 2003. She successfully completed the study program for German as a Foreign Language at the University of Saarland in 2010. In 2018, she earned a Master's degree in Mental Health Psychology at the University of Liverpool. Today, Nataliya Lang is active in the medical technology industry. She writes her books in her free time. Her life is full of events and meetings with interesting people, and these serve as her source of inspiration.
