Mr & Mrs Boheim

The cafe, in Piccadilly Circus in the West End of London is luxuriously furnished. It is divided into two sections with about ten tables each. The atmosphere is informal. Some people are in business attire while others are in smart casual clothes. About five tables are filled in the section showed. The waiters in smart dark suits with bow ties, are serving customers who are at different stages of dining and drinking.

Kate smartly dressed, enters the cafe, in late evening. She is greeted by head waiter and she asks for Steve Boheim. Before the waiter could reply, she notices, on a table, sitting alone Steve, and waves her hand discreetly. Steve gets up from the table while the waiter escorts Kate to his table. Steve and Kate kiss each other on both cheeks. Waiter pulls the chair opposite Steve's, and Kate sits down. She looks in a better mood and does not seem as cold as she was in her last meeting with Steve.

Waiter: What would you like, madam?

Steve: (looking at Kate) What would you like, Kate?

Kate: Some white wine, please.

Steve: (addressing to waiter) A bottle of Chablis please.

Waiter: Thanks, and goes away.

Steve: (looking at Kate with lot of affection) How are you, my dear?

Kate: Not too bad, could have been a lot better.

In the mean time, the waiter brings the bottle, an ice bucket, some roast cashews, olives and small appetizers. Steve finishes off the drink which was already in front of him. Then he tastes the wine that the waiter has just poured, and says 'Fine'. Waiter pours the wine in Kate's glass, fills Steve's glass, takes the old glass from the table and goes away. Kate picks up her glass and takes a sip. They look at each other but do not speak for a while.

After a few seconds,

Kate: Well, you wanted to see me?

Steve: (brings his hands forward and holds her head with his hands, and brings his face close to her) "Let me see you more... it has been long time."

Kate: On to your old tricks!

Steve: This time I mean it... I don't know where to start; how much I want to know about you and how much I want to tell you about me.
